My role in schools is to work in small groups, one-on-one or with whole school staff to:

  • Ensure the use of Digital Technologies in the curriculum is meaningful and innovative

  • Equip students and teachers with the skills students and teachers require in 21st century learning and teaching

  • Effectively plan and implement a 1:1 learning program that supports and enhances student learning and teaching practices

Teacher Professional Learning in Digital Technologies

  • Professional development and learning to upskill teachers in the use of Digital Technologies. 

  • Equipping teachers with essential technological skills and introducing resources to improve contemporary teaching practices.

  • Needs based workshops to assist teachers in the learning of technologies. This ranges from basic to advanced skill levels. 

Technology Planning & Deployment in Schools

  • Planning the school’s future Digital Technologies direction to ensure it meets 21st century requirements.

  • Collaboratively develop technology related policies that are meaningful and current to students and the school. This includes, School Digital Techonlogies Acceptable Use Policy, Cyber Safety Policy and Social Media Policy.

  • Introduce technology for administrative and organisational purposes to enhance the school's day to day operation.

  • Conduct parent technology workshops to build awareness of the use of technology and its functions.

Fusing Digital Technologies into the Curriuclum & Classroom

  • Modelling the use of technology within a classroom setting.

  • Team teaching with classroom teacher(s) to build confidence and competence in the learning and teaching of Digital Technologies.

  • Exploring a range of technology, software and contemporary learning tools that support and enhance student learning (using technology that is available at each school). ​

  • Planning for the authentic use of Digital Technologies in the curriculum to ensure that it is meaningful and relevant to students and current learning.

  • Utilising a range of contemporary learning tools to enhance and support student learning.

  • Planning with grade level teams to create a set of sequential learning experiences that are aimed at developing student technology understandings and skills. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

        C:1 Learning Program

  • Plan and implement a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) or a 1:1 Program with devices that support the learning of students and teachers (Chromebooks, MacBooks and iPads).

  • Complete roadmap and coursework into implementing a successful 1:1 program in schools.
